Key Responsibilities:

Grow CIP’s Re-Use/Recycle Business
  • Bring on new accounts
  • Have a blank canvas to start and grow CIP’s Frac/Production Business Unit

Chemical Management

  • Develop, select, and manage chemical formulations specifically designed for the treatment of produced water for re-use.
  • Ensure that all chemicals comply with environmental regulations and industry standards.

Technical Support

  • Provide technical guidance and support to field operations regarding the application of chemicals for produced water re-use.
  • Collaborate with engineering and environmental teams to optimize chemical processes for specific water quality and treatment goals.

Safety and Compliance

  • Establish and enforce safety protocols related to chemical handling and re-use processes.
  • Conduct safety training and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations concerning water re-use and chemical usage.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with production, environmental, and regulatory teams to develop integrated strategies for produced water re-use.
  • Facilitate communication between departments to ensure alignment on operational objectives and practices.

Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor the effectiveness of chemical treatments and re-use processes, analyzing data to assess performance and make necessary adjustments.
  • Coordinate testing and analysis with third-party laboratories to validate treatment efficacy and compliance

Cost Management

  • Manage budgets associated with chemical procurement and re-use service contracts, seeking cost-effective solutions.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and maintain robust vendor relationships to ensure quality and reliability.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Stay informed about current regulations and best practices regarding produced water re-use and chemical management.
  • Ensure all operations adhere to regulatory standards and environmental protection guidelines.

Training and Development

  • Develop and lead training programs for field personnel focused on safe chemical handling and produced water re-use practices.
  • Create educational materials to enhance understanding of re-use technologies and processes.

Research and Development

  • Engage in research and development initiatives to identify innovative chemical solutions and technologies that improve produced water re-use efficiency.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies for potential application in re-use processes.

Reporting and Documentation

  • Maintain comprehensive records of chemical usage, treatment processes, and compliance activities related to produced water re-use.
  • Prepare reports for management and regulatory agencies as needed, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of [5-10] years of experience in chemical management and produced water treatment, with a focus on re-use practices in the oil and gas industry.
